Since our start as a ground-breaking internet radio show in 2005, local and national artists, comedians, actors, authors, and internget legends all stop by the show to reach the large diverse audience, and to have a lot of fun doing so. The show airs live on Monday Nights from 7-10p CST.

Always controversial and outspoken, Jeff "Venkman" Hirst considers his beginning in broadcasting was when he wrote skits and parody songs for the 'Randy Miller Morning Show' while in high school.. however nothing was ever used. This 27 year old prodigy co-founded the Big Dumb Fun Show in 2004 after being introduced to airwaves at an early age in rural Butler, MO. Venkman lives in Blue Springs, MO with his wife and daughter. "Who is Dick Yankins?" - Venkman
"If you're going the stimulate the economy, the economy should stimulate you." - Aaron Gnirk
"She's custom fitting titties" - Joel from Caesura

Steve Williams does his best Christopher Walken impression and sings Britney Spears "Baby One More Time". The video totally blows, but give it a view, it's great.

Gnirk came back from his Iowa comedy tour only to find an empty house. He wasn't robbed (he doesn't have anything worth stealing other than a year's supplies of black t-shirts...seriously his closet looks like someone raided Dracula's garage sale) his girlfriend dumped him. We'll she come back? Stay tuned to next week's 'As the Gnirk Turns'.

The Chatroom Challenge: Saturday Night Live had a humerous sketch for men who were wanting to suppress their erections. Where is the worse place to have an erection? The chatroom had some great ideas. TRAVIS dj106tw Church, School, Chuck-E-Cheeses; MtBG Mens Locker Room, Swimming Pool, Alkai Band Practice, Nadp816 Bernie Maddoffs Trial, Big Dumb Fun Show, Special Olympics, Zoo; Hungh Get out Grocery Store, While Skipping, Wal MArt, Bus, Home Depot Restroom, While being rescued, Being Audited, Justin In front of Girl Friends Parents, Gay Bar (if you're straight), Lunchbox Willie Playing Santa, Gary420, Job Interview.

We got a voicemail from Josh who was a listener to the show several years ago and called in to play Pirate Trivia. Turns out we promised him a prize and never delivered.. We cold-called Josh back and promised to send him something for his trouble....then we lost his address.

Kelly Erb is the TaxGirl who knows everything about income taxes and blogs about them on a regular basis. She's been a 'blogger' for years and is putter her talents to good use on TaxGirl.com. We asked about the new stimulus, avoiding an audit, gambling, getting paid under the table, 1099's, w2's, and R2D2. If you got a tax question, ask Kelly @ http://www.taxgirl.com You can 'Face Up' with her on Facebook too!

All hell broke loose when the guys from Isaac James stopped by the Big Dumb Fun Show. They have a big show at the PIG this Saturday night that they want everyone to come to. They brought their instruments in hand and gave us two great acoustics. Isaac James is the brain-child of Joel Eckman, the former drummer of Stone Sour. Joel left Stone Sour when his son became ill and unfortunately died of brain cancer. His son's name is Isaac James and the band was named after him as a ongoing tribute to him. http://www.myspace.com/isaacjamestheband

Two Joel's in one show? Joel Vissia from Caesura and Vince from Meatshank joined us to promote their upcoming gigs at the end of March. Meatshank will be playing March 27th at The Pig and Caesura will be March 28th at the Riot Room, which is weird for them, they don't spend much time in KC anymore. Venkman gave Vince the suggestion for Meatshank to call themselves 'The Meat Shanks' and come out in 1950's regalia, then just come out shreddin' like they do best. Ok, at least Venkman would find it funny. Visit Caesura's MySpace @ http://www.myspace.com/caesura2012 and Meatshank is online @ http://www.myspace.com/meatshankband
